~ Twitter ~ So Versatile it should be complicated So Simple .... you think it's limited Wikipedia says ..... "Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that enables its users to send and read messages known as tweets. " A Tweet - is the message you send - the post you make - limited to 140 characters Is there a learning curve ???? Absolutely In a nutshell ... Twitter is a platform that allows you post a message (Tweet) about any subject you want. Once posted, people who subscribe (Follow) your posts will be able to read and comment about what you've said. If they think it's really interesting they can repost it (ReTweet) to the people who subscribe to THEIR posts. And so the conversation begins. It's can be amazing where it can lead and the diverse people who can get involved. Twitter is not just about what you had for lunch (but it can be), or where the traffic is backed up (but it can be that too), or who just scored a goal (and that too), or what business ideas are working on the other side of the country (even that) ..... IT IS ALL THOSE THINGS >>> But MANY, MANY MORE .. .. mix in some video, some music and the idea of NO LIMITS and get ready for a real adventure. Twitter is not complicated .. but as with all new technologies - there is a learning curve. It's important to understand a bit of what it's about and how you want to use it before you can Tweet effectively. So start slow .. and ease into it. It takes some time ... but it's time well spent.
